2012 Clergy Dinner

Last Thursday, August 23rd, Ripon College and the Ripon Clergy Association observed a long standing tradition of gathering in Ripon College's Great Hall for a potluck dinner to welcome college students back to Ripon and provide a great place for students, staff, faculty and community members to network and get to know one another.  Over 700 people attended this year's event.
The food, generously provided by members of the Ripon community was delicious as always, and much appreciated by the hungry college students in attendance.
Students, staff, and faculty members lined up out the door and around the building in anticipation of the feast waiting inside.

RC students Jennifer Granum and Kevin Carli served the community by making sure that the tables were full of steaming casseroles, side dishes, cold salads, and desert.

Other RC students and Ripon community members also partnered up to serve food together. The act of literally serving the community together provided a natural commonality between RC students and Ripon community members, facilitating meaningful conversation and a chance to exchange ideas about how to make our community the best it can be!
